Ann Wills DVM grew up on a ranch at the base of the Rocky Mountains. She earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Denver and spent her “first life” in commercial real estate development. In her late thirties she followed her dream and pursued a career in veterinary medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from Colorado State University.

Dr. Wills comes from a long line of authors. Her aunt, Frances Weaver, was a published author and her mother had the gift of poetry and short story, many of which appeared in local periodicals.

Ann Wills DVM is in veterinary practice specializing in emergency medicine. She lives in Texas where she breeds and shows cutting horses.

 The Spirit Doll Hat is her first published book.
